We know what's the best of the best.

Our gift to you... recommendations.

I'm going to be a little frank. I may, in fact, spend too much time thrifting, and driving around to find new places to thrift, and thinking about what I'd want to thrift next. It's kind of a serious problem.

Fortunately for you, during my years of excessive shopping, I've seen a few things. (By which I mean I've sniffed out most of the musty thrift inventories in town.) I, as a result, like to think I've developed some ideas about what I like in a thrift store. So, as much as it pains me to divulge my secret haunts, if you're at all inclined to trust my opinions, I can recommend some seriously solid secondhand shopping for you.

In no particular order, here's my list of the most treasured, most consistent, and most successful places to go thrifting:

Name Type Location Selection Status Special Notes
Women's Men's Furniture
1/2 of 1/2 Discount By UTD, on Campbell check_circle check_circle check_circle I love it for the occasional resold Free People or Urban Outfitters attire, as well as the jackets.
Thrift City Discount Richardson, on Belt Line check_circle check_circle check_circle Huge selection! You can spend days upon days browsing this place.
Plaza Thrift Thrift Mckinney, on 75 check_circle check_circle check_circle Probably my favorite thrift store. Excellent place for seasonal attire and strange t-shirts.
